No hay que ser tan negativo./ We do not have to be that negative.

A pesar de la situación política, social y económica del país no hay que ser tan negativo. Según mi punto de vista, tenemos que seguir siendo un país alegre, con esperanzas, con ideas de futuro… todo esto a pesar de el desempleo, la escases de alimentos, los continuos ataques del bando oficialista contra la oposición (y viceversa), de las deficiencias en los servicios públicos, etc., con indicio de que las cosas van a seguir de mal en peor. Sin embargo el venezolano siendo venezolano nunca va a perder sus ganas por luchar y seguir adelante. Afortunadamente somos un pueblo optimista con un material humano inmenso y con una reserva infinita de dignidad. Como dice la campaña actual, Venezuela indestructible, pareciera difícil detener el ímpetu y la fortaleza de un país que quiere salir adelante a pesar de todas las vicisitudes, problemas, conflictos y demás factores negativos que desafortunadamente forman parte de nuestra sociedad. Hoy día del amor y de la amistad puede ser un buen comienzo para olvidar y perdonar las cosas malas y seguir buscando las cosas buenas que están por venir. 

Although we are inmersed in a big political row, also reflected in the social and in the economics we should not have to be that negative. From my stand point, we ought be a happy country, with great expectations and hopes. Even though the high unemployment rates, even though current food rationing and shortages, even though frequent attacks from one political party to another, even though lacks in public services, etc., all these without any sign of straightening in the forthseeing future. Venezuelans being Venezuelans shall never loose the momentum for progress and triumphant attitude. Luckily, we have always showed to be optimistic people with huge humanistic values and infinite dignity reserve. As the actual advertarsing campaign shows: Indestructible Venezuela, it looks rather difficult to stop the impetus and the drive  of a country that wants to keep forward despite all troubles, difficulties and conflicts. All before too recurring in our society, unfortunately. Today that we celebrate San Valentine’s day, it can be a good start for forgetting and forgiving the bad things but pursuing the good ones that shall come towards us.
