El uso de la palabra hermano (a)./ Brothers and sisters.

Vemos como a diario hacemos uso de muchas palabras que en realidad no son las más específicas para un hecho determinado. Por ejemplo, cuando salimos a la calle para llamar a una persona cualquiera de una forma cortes le decimos hermano. Este tipo de vocabulario es cada vez más común entre los ciudadanos por su carácter intrínseco de amistad, cariño, respeto mutuo, etc. También vemos como personas religiosas usan el termino de manera de connotar que todos somos hijos de un ser supremo que nos ha creado para vivir en armonía. Sin embargo, desde principios de los siglos se han escuchado historias de personas que son hermanas con vínculos y parentescos sanguíneos que llegan a enemistarse de una manera tan radical que el tèrmino enemigo sería más justo para llamar así su relación mutua. Por otro lado hay personas que no son hermanos desde el punto de vista de la definición estricta y conviven toda su vida respetando el hecho de una crianza mutua, con el mismo cariño, el mismo nivel de deberes y derechos dentro de su relación familiar. Entre jóvenes es muy común creer que se tienen muchos hermanos, pero a medida que los años pasan y que la juventud se vuelve experiencia este tipo de sentimiento hacia personas que se creían especiales puede desaparecer fácilmente. Qué bonito seria que la inocencia volviera a la mente de los humanos con tan recurrencia que si pudiéramos sentir que se tienen muchos hermanos sin importar el origen de su definición, pero como un sentimiento que se expresa hacia otras personas con la idea de tener mejor relación entre todos pensando en un mejor mundo. 

Every day we use words in our vocabulary that may not reflect the true meaning of what we are trying to say or we use these in a figurative sense. For instance, the use of word “brother” is one of these examples. This sort of expression is more common every day between citizens for its friendly meaning, and their connotation of respect, love, etc. In the same way, religious people use this word as it bespeaks of having the same celestial father. Following this, we are all brothers in eyes of the creator hence we should live in harmony, peace, respect and love to each other. Nonetheless, since beginning of time we also have heard histories of brother killing brother although they share the same blood. The use of the word enemy would be more appropriate for this situation. On the other hand, there are brothers (not blood related) that have excellent relationships and always had shared and felt the same love from their relatives and living with the same rights. Many times their parents are not even their real progenitors neither. Among young people is very common to believe we have many brothers, but while you grow older and you gain more experience in life this feeling seems to easily disappear. It would be nice that innocence remain intact in human being minds to let people have many brothers where they treat with respect and courtesy. Perhaps we would have a better life, a better society, and a better world if we can achieve this.
