Jugando loteria./ Playing the lottery.
I do have a hell lot of time that I do not get a lottery ticket on a Sunday just for argument sake. In the past, I used to buy any sort of it at least once a week. Now, I would like to make the following analsys. Let´s suppose that thirty percent of the time that I bought it, I did not crossed check the results or I just throw it in the bin. There is a chance out there that I won it but I never realised so. Where it´s that “fricking” money?. I do not like buying it these days since the jackpot does not seems to give enough money away so I can´t be arse to stop in the shop to get a ticket just for few pounds. As far as I am concern the biggest price in the lottery market these days is 48.000.000 Bolivares Fuertes (which is about £42.000 in the Venezuelan currency) [1]. By the time, you could have bought with that money a modest apartment, a modest family car, paying some debts, saving some money, having a nice holiday, becoming a member of a nice club, and that was it… hhmm!, thinking thoroughly it´s not a bad idea getting that ticket on the next weekend… (days later in the nearest shop), excuse me, can I have a lucky dip please?.
