Tengo el scanner malo./ The scanner it is not working.

Para que vean como son las cosas, anoche estaba pensando, ¿qué iba a escribir hoy en el blog?, y no tenía ni idea de un tópico de discusión, el día anterior era domingo y ya les comente antes que no me gustan los domingos porque generalmente, no pasa nada en domingo. Claro uds. dirán, si pero, la semana ya empezó con propiedad por lo tanto es lunes y ya se me hubiese tenido que haber ocurrido algo que comentar, pero la verdad es que no he querido escribir nada de política ni economía todavía y tenía un par de temas que voy a guardar para el futuro. Bueno, lo cierto fue que se me ocurrió una idea con una foto que tengo a mi visita a Liverpool, Inglaterra, ya hace como unos 30 Kg… Estaba afuera de la caverna de los Beatles (31 Mathew St, Liverpool) en un día soleado y listo a entrar a tomarme unos tragos y comprar algún suvenir. La mala noticia es que no tengo scanner en la casa y cuando fui al centro de copiado más cercano, tampoco tenían un scanner disponible. Claro, puedo ir a otros sitios pero tampoco es que sea tan importante mostrarles esta foto hoy. Sin embargo encontré la misma, ¡mismita! foto en la internet (mismo ángulo, misma luminosidad, creo que misma distancia a la puerta) que yo me tome hace 12 años, pero claro sin mi persona en este caso. Cuando tenga el scanner disponible voy a publicar mi foto y pedirles que encuentren las diferencias…

I was thinking last night in what topic I was going to write in the blog today. I was quite bored and I did not want to write about politics nor economics. There are a couple of subjects that I have for the future that I did not want to included neither. Perhaps because the day before it was a Sunday and as you remember, I do not like Sunday because nothing happens on Sunday. Searching and searching a I found a picture of mine taken outside the Beatles tavern (31 Mathew St, Liverpool) during a visit to Liverpool, England, about seven and a half stones ago (30 Kg)… it was a sunny day and we decided to go inside to have a drink, and to get a souvenir before heading back to Manchester… When I tried to scanned the picture, surprise, surprise it was not working. Therefore I went to the nearest cyber and unfortunately they did not have any available. It is not that important to show my picture (taken twelve years ago) since I found a similar one in the internet with the same angle, same luminosity, and I think the same distance from the entrance. The main difference is that I was not there. When I manage to get the scanner working however, I shall publish it to spot the differences…
