La respuesta está entre el curve y el bold./ The curve or the bold?.

¿Quién de uds. saben cuántos tipos de blackberry hay?, ¿o cuál será el último modelo del año?. Yo la verdad que lo admito sin ningún tipo de ambigüedad, ¡no tengo ni la menor idea!. Salir a comprar un teléfono móvil estos días pareciera que es una de las decisiones más trascendentales que uno pueda tomar durante todo el año. La diversidad de modelos y marcas hacen que te sientas que se debe casi que vivir sólo para aprender el sin numero de aplicaciones y programas que cada modelo trae consigo. Después viene el asunto de cuantas de las personas que tú conoces tiene algún modelo parecido, así no te quedas solo con tu tecnología y puedes compartir y hacerte parte de alguna comunidad cibernética que pareciera más importante cada día. A cualquier hora que te levantes siempre vas a tener en línea alguien con quien conversar y mantenerte al día con el “chisme” del momento. Si conoces a alguien que está del otro lado del mundo siempre el horario te favorecerá (más temprano aquí) y te permitirá recibir respuestas casi que inmediatas a todas tus inquietudes. Mandar y recibir correos, “tweets”, notas, se ha convertido en una imperiosa necesidad por lo fácil y simplificado que se han tornado la mayoría de los “softwares” empleados para tales fines. Así que ya no hay excusas para no comunicarse cuando tenías que hacerlo ya sea por motivos familiares, o de trabajo. Otro de los temas que siempre se trae a colación es el tamaño. Aparentemente mientras mas pequeño mejor, fácil de cargar, guardar y de usar. Sin embargo, afortunadamente con el auge actual de los “pads” como que se está volviendo a la cordura en cuanto a tamaño que en algún momento llego a ser tan pequeño el “gadget” como para que estuviese en tu mano cerrada sin que muchas personas llegaran a ni siquiera notarlo. Recuerdo que en los inicios de los teléfonos móviles el modelo más popular era el llamado ladrillo (¡¿adivinen cual era en la foto?!), al parecer, ¡uno de los mejores en cuanto a recepción!. Por allí dicen que las modas siempre se repiten… ¿será éste el caso?. 

Does any of you know all the actual models of blackberry?, or which, is the latest out in the market?. I have to be honest here, I have not got a clue!. It seems that going shopping for one of these gadgets, can take you to face the most important decision of the whole year. For starters, the diversity of models and brands of mobile phones make you think twice at the moment of choosing one. Then, you have to sit and learn a number of applications just to be able of being contacted by a call. After this, one the key points of buying such brand, is that you need to realise (in case you have not done it yet) how many of your friends, or relatives have the same equipment in order to share data and information as its part of your network. You have to anticipate been contacted at any time for that latest gossip, since users from other parts of the world might have your cyber details. Despite the distance your answer it´s expected to be immediate. Apart from this, sending tweets, emails, quick notes, etc. it is a paramount to be up to date. Rather easy really once you learn the commands and you manage to master the use of softwares available in shops. Hence, there is not excuse to be off line from mates, family, work colleagues, etc. Now let´s talk about the size. Obviously the smaller the better: easy to handle, easy to keep in a safe place and easy to carry. Likewise, it has to be said that the use of pads allows you to go bigger when required and keep it sensible regarding the size. I remember the “old brand new brick” model, the best unimaginable signal. Guess which is which in the picture. All good fashion comes back to life … so they say. (Published on 24^th September 2012).
