Venezuela se quedo con uno de los dos cupos directos a los juegos olímpicos Rio de Janeiro 2016 en la especialidad de baloncesto masculino tras ganar la primera semifinal en un cerrado encuentro a la aguerrida representación Canadiense en el campeonato pre olímpico celebrado en México city. El encuentro culminó 78-79 en un decisivo tiro libre cuando faltaban apenas 0.03 segundos para el final del encuentro. Guillent fué declarado el MVP. Mañana se celebrará la final para definir el campeón del torneo. Felicitaciones a la vinotinto!.
