Gran Premio de Silverstone 2001./ Silverstone 2001 grand prix.

Recuerdos el Gran Premio Silverstone, Inglaterra en el año 2001. Tres días de deleite de principio a fin para los amantes de las motos, los carros rápidos y los aviones. La carrera fue ganada por el Finlandés Mika Hakkinen, seguido por el Alemán Michael Schumacher y en el tercer puesto el Brasileño Rubens Barrichello. En la foto se muestra el Colombiano Juan Pablo Montoya que finalizó cuarto en la carrera (a unos 120 Km approx.) en la curva Luffield poco antes de acelerar su bólido a máxima velocidad para llegar a la curva Woocote antes de entrar en la recta final. En las siguientes fotos exhibición de autos, desfile de banderas, presentación de pilotos y feria de venta de suvenirs. 1el mejor espectáculo deportivo que he asistido en mi vida, sin lugar a dudas. Ojalá pueda repetirlo en un futuro no muy lejano... go, go, go!...

Good memories from the Silverstone Grand Prix, England 2001. Three days of entertainment for lovers of fast cars, motorbikes and airplanes. The race was won by the Finnish Mika Hakkinen, followed by the Deutsch Michael Schumacher and finally the Brazilian Rubens Barrichello. In the pictures below can be seen at the back the Columbian Montoya (fourth place in the race). The speed at this point was 120 km/h approximately driving through the Luffield bend just before accelerating his machine to get to the Woocote bend and face the final straight. The next picture shows a Jaguar model in the car exhibition and a section of the souvenir shops. The best sport related show (by far!) that I had ever been in my entire life, no doubt about it. I hope I can repeat this experience in the future… go, go, go!..
