City of Truro (GWR 3700 Class 3440), fue la primera
locomotora en alcanzar los 160km/h en el año 1904 por suelos Europeos. El avance alcanzado en la
materia es bastante relevante si lo comparamos con el súper tren Chino
(CRH380A) actual que llega a una velocidad máxima de 486 km/h.
The City of Truro (GWR 3700 Class 3440) was the first locomotive to reach the 160 Km/h mark, in 1904 at European soil. Since then, there have been remarkable developments in train technology, seen specially after the commissioning of the Chinese bullet train (CRH380A), which reaches the sky high of 486 km/h.
