Cámaras de velocidad./ Speed cameras.

Son bien conocidas en el mundo desarrollado, ubicadas en una gran cantidad de carreteras con la finalidad de atrapar a conductores que sobrepasan los límites de velocidad. No sólo se pueden instalar cámaras fijas en lugares predestinados, también se pueden usar radares móviles en vías claves que permitan el debido control. Será posible esto en un país como Venezuela, al menos instalarlas en caminos o rutas urbanas? El uso de este tipo de artefactos tiene un gran valor  preventivo, por lo tanto el factor intimidatorio siempre va a jugar un papel importante en los conductores que al saber que ya están disponibles trataran de usar las vías y autopistas dentro del los limites establecidos por la ley. Cuando un conductor es fotografiado por exceso de velocidad, dependiendo del grado de la falta, una multa será procesada en su contra. Si es repetitiva la falta se procederá con retirarle la licencia por un periodo de tiempo y hasta permanentemente en ocasiones.

These gadgets are well known in the developed countries. Most road and motorways are surveilled by the police with this sort of equipment so they have visual evidence of speeding drivers. Apart from the speed cameras they also use radars, so they can spend tickets to infractors. When the driver gets a ticket with a photo for speeding, his driving license is at risk. If he incurs in the same fault again, the driving license will be no longer valid. Now the question: It is possible to install these in Venezuela at least in country roads? The use of these is highly preventive and of course it brings a big factor of intimidation for irresponsible drivers so they drive within the speed limit.
